On 8/25/09 Marianne Hoynes decided that she had something to say
about the way she was affected by our health care system.
She went in her wheel chair to a town hall meeting in Red Bank NJ to find out more about the
current bill H.R. 3200 from her Representative. Though the angry mobs of protestors tried to shout her down, she refused to let herself be drowned out.
The next day, The Star Ledger ran a piece on how disrespectful, and impotent the debate at these town hall meetings had become, and they used Marianne's courageous statement as an example.
The footage of this woman in a wheelchair being heckled by an angry mob, as
she tried to tell her congressman that our health care system was failing her, spread
like wildfire. In just 2 days her video on youtube had over 1800 views. on Sept 3rd, we saw her clip running on MSNBC'.

Then Keith Olbermann ran her clip as well, and remarked on the state of mind one must be in to try to shout down a disabled woman, we appreciated his opinion.
